Bridging the Gaps

I want to make parent volunteering and engagement easier and more effective. I have deep respect for the parent volunteers who make so many extracurricular activities possible.

I also see a disconnect between our township board and our school system — and I believe that if we connect them, our community and our schools get stronger together.

Education is for everybody — even me. I want to understand how our schools and township can work hand-in-hand to deliver more.

What I’ll Advocate For

The Vision

When schools and community are truly connected, everyone wins. Students see that their community values them. Teachers feel supported. Parents feel welcome. And the community sees the return on its investment in education.

That’s what “Education is for everybody” means in practice.
